Homeschool Excursions is dedicated to offering unique, interactive educational experiences to the students in Georgia at an affordable rate.
However, there are many overhead costs assiciated with running a non-profit organization, including annual fees to the Secretary of State, insurance, internet and web hosting, cell phone, office supplies and printing, etc. We are constantly seeking grants and additional funding from a variety of sources, but this is a lengthy and challenging process. So we are investigating alternate fundraising options that don't involve the kids trying to sell things. (I had to sell 10 pound bags of vidalia onions for my soccer team in high school and I pomised myself I would never make any kids do something like that!)

Do you shop at Kroger? You can now link your Kroger Plus card to Homeschool Excursions and a percentage of your purchases will benefit our programs! Here's how:
- Print this letter: Kroger Letter
- Take it with you next time you go to Kroger and give it to the person at the register before you begin to check out.
- They will scan the barcode at the bottom, then they'll scan your Plus card. This will link your card to us, and then anytime you use your card at any Kroger store, you'll be supporting Homeschool Excursions at no extra cost to you!
- Once you link your card, you'll never have to do it again. Give the letter to your friends so they can also support us, and you'll be saving paper because they won't have to print it!

Do you shop online? Well, if so, a percentage of your sales can go to Homeschool Excursions at no additional cost to you! Help support us while you shop. Here's how:
- Visit www.schoolpop.com
- Register as a user and select Homeschool Excursions, Inc. as your school of choice (ID # 130495)
- Go to the Merchant Listing and select any of the more than 500 online retailers
- SchoolPop will then collect the percentage from the retailer and send us a check on a quarterly basis
- All funds collected from SchoolPop will be applied to reduce program costs to make them affordable for all families!
I was a bit skeptical at first, so I logged onto Target.com from schoolpop.com, and then opened another browser window and visited Target without SchoolPop. They were identical, the prices were the same, and the check-out process was the same!
I went through the Merchant List to get an idea of what was available. Basically every store I know participates in this program, as well as a variety of airlines, hotels, cell phone providers, and more. Here's a sample of what's available (and this is only maybe 5% of the retailers availabe!):

SchoolPop has additional fundraising opportunities through their cell phone and ink cartridge recycling program, and with their credit card options. Homeschool Excursions will be collecting old ink cartriges and cell phones at every event and on Wednesdays at the Enrichment Program classes, so please bring your old items to be recycled.
